The inaugural meeting for the F’n’D musical ride 2008 took place on the 14^th November 2007 at The Farmers Arms, Waen. This was very well attended, and since then some 45 riders have confirmed their intention to participate, with a further 5 riders indicating provisional interest. 

The inaugural training session for the musical Ride took place on Sunday 13th January 2008 at Celyn College, Northop and was attended by 54 riders and ponies. All arrived on time and the session went very well. The riders were grouped into 'Friday practices' and 'Sunday practices' pairs and then the pairs as sets of 4. This took a little time for so many riders and everybody was very patient. With this completed an initial practice session was held and everybody seems to have enjoyed it.

Sunday 1st June,2008 was a first sort out of partners and following that a list of the moves were given out to riders.

Am sure you will all agree it was quite an experience for all concerned.
Nothing major went wrong (and so much could have!) The sun shone, the crowds loved it and the riders pulled all the stops out. Congratulations all round. It made the hassle and hard work fade into insignificance - well nearly!

By popular demand we have been requested to display at the Denbigh and Flintshire show on August 21st and then the Denbigh Flower show on the 23rd. Practice for these is on Sunday 17th @ 3.00 pm (where?).

We have a video recording on DVD taken from the grandstand on Monday. If anybody has a recording from the Grandstand of Wednesday's performance please let Meg know asap.
