Home Page of The F'n'D Musical Ride

This is the web site is for the publication of information about the forthcoming Musical Ride to be performed by members of  The Flint and Denbigh Hunt branch of the Pony Club (F'n'D). This is to take place during the summer of 2008, with performances at the Royal Welsh Show; County Fare, Gwaenynog and the Denbigh Flower Show.

The theme of the ride is the Welsh uprising lead by Owain Glyndwr against Henry IV in the early 1400s. The ride will have two groups of riders one for the Welsh and one for the English.

The ride is to be organised by Meg Green of  the Flint and Denbigh Hunt branch of the Pony Club and will be performed by riders of all ages and abilities (in keeping with The Pony Club tradition), with some riders taking featured roles.

Riders will be in period costume (help required please). Initially practices will be every fortnight but when the evening light allows the two groups will work together and it will be weekly.
