theme of the ride is the Welsh uprising lead by Owain Glyndwr against
Henry IV in the early 1400s and will be performed by riders in uniforms
with some taking featured roles. The Musical Ride is designed to be in three Acts with two groups of riders being the Welsh and the English. The Welsh army will enter the ring first behaving in an unruly and rebellious manner. Then the English army will enter the ring in an orderly manner with the intent of quashing the rebellious Welsh. On sighting each other the two armies will get into formation facing each other. Act 1: The Preparation - The two armies will carry out camp manoeuvres independently. Act 2: The Battle - Battle movements where the two armies will interact. Act 3: The Resolution - The two armies will merge into one group and complete the Musical ride movements together.
