The following is the recognised as the constitution of the Club.

1. Name
The name of the club shall be "Wrexham Fencing Club" which shall be affiliated to the Welsh Amateur Fencing Union.

2. Object
The object of the Club shall be to promote the sport of Fencing.

3. Membership
Members must be amateurs as currently defined by the Amateur Fencing Association. They will be divided into the following categories:
a) Full Senior member
b) Full Junior member
c) County members
d) Honorary members
e) Probationary members

4. Subscriptions
Subscription rates will be decided by the Club Committee prior to the commencement of the season and will be advised to the membership at the Club Annual General Meeting.

5. Administration
a) The officers of the Club shall be: Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer, Club Coach and one other member

b) The Committee reserve the right to co-opt, at their discretion, other members where and when necessary.

c) All officers shall be elected at the Annual General Meeting and shall hold office until the next Annual General meeting, when they shall retire, but shall be eligible for re-election.

d) An Honourary Auditor shall be appointed annually by the Annual General Meeting.

e) The affairs of the Club shall be administered by the Committee as in 5(a).

6. Accounts
Proper accounts of receipts and expenditure shall be kept by the Hon Treasurer and these will be -open to inspection by members of the Committee.

An Annual financial ststement (Statement) shall be prepared.

7. Meeting
An annual General Meeting shall be held every year during the month of January. Special General meetings may be convened by the Committee'and the Secretary on the requisition of not less than 15% of the total paid up membership. At least 7 days notice shall be given of all meetings.

8. Equipment
Where possible, members must provide their own equipment and must fence only when suitably dressed and under supeivision. No responsibility can be accepted by the Club for any injury sustained by members.

9. Constitution
Alterations to the Constitution may only be made at an Annual general Meeting. A written copy of any resolution proposing an anendment signed by the Proposer and Seconder must be submitted to the Hon secretary at least 3 weeks before the Annual general Meeting for inclusion in the Agenda. A majority by voting of 66%of members present shall be required for the passing of the proposed amendment, alteration or addition.

10. Dissolution
In the event of the dissolution of the Club, any property or monies that remain after the settlement of liabilities shall not be distributed but transferred to WAFU until such time as the Club be reformed.

11.Expulsion
At the discretion of the Committee a member may be asked to leave the Club if their actions are such as to bring discredit to the Club.

12. All matters arising which are not covered by these rules shall be decided by the
Committee.
