How to get to Clywedog by Car

Leave Chester on The A483 Wrexham Road and continue South over the A55 roundabout. Continue for about 10 miles until reaching the Wrexham exits. At the third Wrexham exit (Junction 4) turn left onto the A525 Ruthin road and head into Wrexham.

Passing through a set of traffic lights the Clywedog School is 0.7 miles from the A483 junction on the right hand side of the road. Turn Right into Homestead Road the immediatly left in to the Leisure centre car park.om Oswestry (and The North)

Approach Wrexham form the south on the A483 reaching the Wrexham exits. At the second Wrexham exit (Junction 4) turn right onto the A525 Ruthin road and head into Wrexham.

From the Centre of Wrexham (St Giles' Church) turn right into Town Hill, turn left into Abbot Street, turn left into Vicarage Hill, turn right into Brook Street, continue straight on into Pentrefelin. At the roundabout take the first exit into Bellevue Road, then turn left into Bradley Road (A5152). At the roundabout take the third exit into Ruthin Road the Clywedog School is 0.4 miles from roundabout on Ruthin road, the left hand side of the road. Turn left into Homestead Road the immediately left in to the Leisure centre car park.

The Clywedog Leisure and Activity Centre is the first large building on the left enter the main entrance and ask at reception for the Sports Hall (or follow the sounds of clashing blades).

How to get to Clywedog by Public Transport

Wrexham General or Central Railway station can be accessed from any station on the railway network (see dedicated web sites). Wrexham has a comprehensive Bus service across the town and Ares (See dedicated web site and the Public Transport Maps). The bus service required to get to the Clywedog Leisure and Activity Centre is the Route 6, alight at the Bryn Offa Centenary Road stop and the Clywedog Leisure and Activity Centre is a short walk along Ruthin Road.
