Wrexham fencing club has a legal requirement to abide by Health and safety regulations to this end all members (Junior and Senior) are required to adhere to the following.
Member Requirements
- All members MUST sign in on arrival at the club and must not fence without doing so.
- Must only fence when it is safe to do so and only use equipment that is in good order.
- Report any faulty equipment to the armourers or member of the coaching staff.
- Ensure hired or borrowed equipment is maintained and returned, when due, in good order.
- Ensure that their personal equipment conforms to the current regulations for fencing.
- Follow an instruction from the coaching staff, or senior member of the club when requested to do so.

The Club Committee will
- Provide facilities and conditions for fencing that comply with Health and Safety standards.
- Provide equipment for fencing (according to club regulations) for hire, of if applicable on loan, that meets Health and Safety standards.
- Check fencing equipment supplied for hire, of if applicable on loan, on a regular basis to ensure it meets Health and Safety Standards and remove and repair, or replace, any equipment that does not meet standards.
- Require the co-operation of all club members whilst in the fencing hall follow the Health and Safety requirements.
First Aid
The Following People are the registered Emergency First aiders for the club, any injury or ailments must be reported immediately to one of the following. The individual first aider will then act accordingly and report to the Leisure Centre First Aiders as necessary.
