As stated previously Wrexham fencing Club is dedicated to fencing and training of the highest standards and to this aim offers additional training for those entering competitions.

Open to both Juniors and Seniors these additional training sessions are aimed at those fencers actively entering competitions, at all levels. They are rigorous sessions were fencers work hard at technique as well as physical fitness and other aspects of competitive fencing.


The Advanced Sessions
– 6:00pm until 08:00pm
For all fencers entering competitions..

Suitable for those more advanced fencers that have been invited by the coaching staff to attend. These fencers are identified as those whose competitive fencing would most benefit from additional training. Not suitable for Beginners.
Objectives To train fencers who are entering competitions to a more rigorous standard in order to advance their competitive fencing.
Equipment All fencing equipment must be supplied by the fencers them selves as the normal club kit will not be available on these evenings.

Wrexham Fencing Club Advanced sessions are on Monday Evenings (during the academic year, roughly September to June) Not at the Clywedog Leisure and Activity Centre where the main club evenings are held but at Darland Leisure and Activity Centre, 1 Darland Close, Rossett, Wrexham, Clwyd LL12 0EN

Please do not contact the Leisure Centre regarding these sessions, but contact the club coaching staff on a normal Friday evening.
